Abstrak Macrofauna is a very important group in determining soil quality. Soil macrofauna is the most sensitive indicator of land use change so that it can be used as a predictor or indicator of land quality change. The important role of soil macrofauna in agricultural land is to maintain environmental quality and soil fertility. The role of soil macrofauna in maintaining soil fertility by rearranging soil organic matter, distributing nutrients, and increasing soil aeration. This study is a descriptive study, conducted using a survey method with a purposive sampling technique based on the existence of macrofauna species in the field. Observations were made using a plot technique of 4 plots with each plot measuring 5 m x 5 m. The plots were placed based on the number of macrofauna species found. This study was conducted for 2 months by conducting direct selection (hand sorting). Based on the results obtained, it shows that the number of species and individuals of soil macrofauna in Agroforestry Land is 16 species and in Secondary Forest Land is 14 species. Furthermore, the highest number of individuals was found in the Agroforestry Land, which was 244 individuals, while in the Secondary Forest Land there were 149 individuals. The species with the largest number of individuals found was Dinoponera gigantae, with 37 individuals in the agroforestry land and 29 individuals in the secondary forest. Furthermore, the Diversity Index of soil macrofauna species in the agroforestry land was higher, which was (2.51), while in the Secondary Forest it was (2.41). So that both locations are included in the moderate diversity value. The similarity index of species in the Agroforestry Land and Secondary Forest is 26% which can be categorized as a low similarity value. |
