Abstrak
This study examines the potential of Baturiti Waterfall as a natural tourist attraction in Catur Karya Village, Balinggi District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi. Indonesia, as the second-largest mega-biodiversity country globally, is known for its rich natural resources, flora, and fauna. Central Sulawesi, specifically Parigi Moutong, is a region with significant tourism potential due to its diverse landscapes and endemic species. The research, conducted from September to November, employs both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods, supported by field observations and direct interviews. The purposive sampling technique was used to select 37 respondents, including village officials, managers, and visitors, with a sample size of 10% from a population of 371 monthly visitors. The findings indicate that Baturiti Waterfall has a tourism potential that is feasible for development, with a feasibility index of 75%. The attraction has strong appeal, good accessibility, and well-maintained supporting infrastructure, making it a promising site for further tourism development. This study emphasizes the importance of preserving natural resources while enhancing tourism to support local communities and boost the region’s economy.
