Yuliana Datuan L13120011,Physical Conditions of Soil in Monoculture Stands of Durian (Durio zibethinus Murr) and Agroforestry Land in Boladangko Village, Kulawi District, Sigi Regency. Supervised by Yusran and Asgar Taiyeb The physical properties of the soil influence the growth of plant roots and its ability to store and hold water and dissolve nutrients, thereby influencing plant production. Therefore, a soil that has good physical properties will achieve optimal plant production based on the conditions of texture, porosity, bulk density, permeability and soil water content. This research aims to determine the physical condition of the soil in durian monoculture stands and agroforestry land in Boladangko Village, Kulawi District, Sigi Regency. This research was carried out from January to February 2024, at 2 different locations, namely on durian monoculture stands and agroforestry land in Boladangko Village, Kulawi District, Sigi Regency. This research was carried out using a field survey method to determine the research location, where the determination of soil sampling points was carried out deliberately (purposive sampling) at 5 points in one plot, with a plot size of 20 m x 20 m at a depth of 0 – 20 cm. The parameters observed were soil texture, soil permeability, bulk density, soil porosity and field soil water content. Soil sample analysis was carried out at the Soil Science Unit Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu. The results of this research show that the physical condition of the soil in durian monoculture stands has a sand content of 48,8%, dust 24,75%, clay 26,45% (sandy clay loam texture class category), soil permeability 2,52 cm/hour (rather fast ), bulk density 1,18 g/cm3 (light), soil porosity 48,22% (not good) and soil water content 26,03%. Meanwhile, agroforestry land has a sand content of 49,55%, dust 15,95%, clay 34,5% (sandy clay texture class category), soil permeability 0,5 cm/hour (slow), bulk density 1,35 g /cm3 (medium), soil porosity 43,23% (not good) and soil water content 24,23%.
