Abstrak Poor soil fertility is one of the challenges in the development of Trembesi seedlings, and this can be addressed by the application of Rhizobium and Rice Husk Charcoal. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of Rhizobium and Rice Husk Charcoal doses on the growth of Trembesi seedlings (Samanea saman (Jacq.) Merr.) in Ultisol soil. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a factorial pattern, consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was Rice Husk Charcoal (A): A0 = 0g, A1 = 50g, and A2 = 100g. The second factor was the application of Rhizobium (R): R0 = 0g, R1 = 10g, and R2 = 15g. Each treatment had 6 replications, resulting in a total of 54 experimental units. The observed parameters were height growth, seedling diameter, and leaf count. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at a 5% significance level. Based on the results of the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% significance level, the treatment being A2 = 100g of rice husk charcoal. The average height was 15 cm. The treatment being R1 = 10 g rhizobium. The average height was 15,13 cm, the number of leaves was 5,22, and the stem diameter was 2,21 mm. The highest interaction was found in the A2R2 treatment, with an average height of 18,67 cm, which was significantly different from the control treatment A0R0 (no treatment) with an average height of 7,42 cm. |
