Land cover mapping is crucial for natural resource management and environmental conservation. At the Central Sulawesi Forest Park, with its 7,128 hectares and varied topography, accurate land cover information is vital for understanding ecosystems, habitat distribution, and changes. This study aims to address the knowledge gap by integrating Digital Elevation Model (DEM) technology with land cover mapping in this region. The research was conducted in the Botanical Forest Park, Central Sulawesi, from October to December 2023. It employed satellite image analysis, including map overlay techniques and Supervised Classification for land use identification. Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) was used to measure the DEM model's accuracy, ensuring precise topographic representation. Results showed an RMSE of 8.46 meters, validating the DEM's vertical accuracy for 1:100,000 scale mapping. Land cover was classified into six types: Forest, Settlement, Savanna, Shrubs, Mining, and Open Land. The integration of SRTM DEM and Landsat 8 imagery proved effective in land cover mapping, aligning with spatial data integration theory. This approach enhanced accuracy and understanding of land conditions. The study confirmed that SRTM DEM is a reliable source for land cover analysis, providing valuable insights for landscape management, land use planning, and natural resource conservation in the Forest Park area. Keywords: Land cover mapping, Digital Elevation Model, Satellite image analysis
