Abstrak
Want to identify the role of stakeholders involved in Watershed Management in Kawatuna, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. Want to know the influence and importance of each stakeholder in Watershed Management in Kawatuna, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. Watershed Mantikulore District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources used were through field observations and interviews with a number of key informants, with sampling done intentionally using purposive sampling. The interview was intended to obtain an explanation of the interests and influence (power) of each stakeholder, as well as the role of stakeholders in watershed management in Kawatuna. Based on the results of the research, the objective in this study is to analyze the role of stakeholders in the management of the upstream Kawatuna Sub Watershed. The results of this study indicate that based on stakeholder analysis, it is known that there are a number of parties that have a great interest and influence in the successful management of the Kawatuna watershed, including customary institutions, community leaders, PDAM, farmers, breeders, local communities, nurseries, BPDAS, Tahura, and Fordas. Each stakeholder's main tasks and functions depend on their influence and interests. This implies that policy makers in watershed management must consider their aspirations in realizing the success of Kawatuna watershed management. Therefore, active coordination and communication between government agencies in the management of the Kawatuna watershed is important. This coordination must be done to ensure consistent and coordinated policy implementation, and avoid overlaps or conflicts of interest between agencies. As well as community participation that can also increase understanding and awareness about the importance of maintaining the sustainability of the Kawatuna watershed.
