Abstrak Soil physical properties are soil properties that are related to the condition of the original soil, including texture, structure, bulk density, porosity, stability, consistency, color and temperature of the soil, etc. This research was to determine the physical condition of the soil under teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) stands and was carried out from March to May 2023, where soil samples were taken under teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) stands of different ages, namely 10 years and 17 years, in Oti Village, Sindue Tobata District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. This research began with location observations and using a purposive sampling technique at 3 points in 1 plot on a stand with square pattern measuring 50 m x 50 m. The soil samples taken were divided namely intact and incomplete soil samples with a depth of 0 – 30 cm and 30 – 60 cm. Whole soil sampling is used to analyze soil permeability, bulk density, particle density and soil porosity. Incomplete soil samples are used to analyze soil texture. The results of the research show that the physical condition of the soil in the teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) stands in Oti Village at the age of 10 years has a soil texture with a sandy loam class, rather slow permeability, very high bulk density and particle density values, and poor soil porosity. Meanwhile, at the age of 17 years has a soil texture with a sandy loam class, slow permeability, very high bulk density and particle density values, and poor soil porosity |
