Abstrak
Medicinal plants are plants in which all or one part of the plant contains active substances. These medicinal plants can be used as a cure for diseases that are efficacious for health. The use of plants as medicine is local wisdom that is passed down from generation to generation based on ancestral recipes, customs, beliefs or local habits. This research was conducted for 2 months, namely from September to November 2024 in Bomba Village, Marawola District, Sigi Regency. The method used was observation through interviews. Data were analyzed by percentage (%) and qualitative descriptions. The results of the study showed that the number of types of medicinal plants used by the community was 22 types from 17 families. The parts of the plant used by the people of Bomba village were leaves 50%, all parts 9%, stems 5%, leaves and stems 9%, fruit 5%, rhizomes 9%, shoots 9% and sap 5%. The most common way of processing medicinal plants is by boiling 73%, without processing 9%, pounding 9% and the least is grated 5% and kneaded 5%. The most common way of utilizing plants is by drinking 73%, applying 9% and the least is eaten directly, dripping and washing 5%.
