If the development carried out is deemed not to meet the interests and needs of the community, then the community has the right to reject it. Tourism development will be meaningless if local communities themselves do not participate in the tourism sector. Community participation is the first step in establishing cooperation between policy makers and the community as a driver for the success of policies in the context of developing tourist attractions. This research aims to find out the level of community participation in the development of Kadidia Hot Springs natural ecotourism. This research uses the observation method through interviews. Observations were carried out by collecting data by directly observing and reviewing the research location and interviews were used to find out how the Kadidia Hot Springs tourist area is. The data analysis used in this research is a descriptive method using 1-3-5 scaling (Modified Likert Scale). Descriptive research is a research method that attempts to describe the object or subject being studied according to what it is with the aim of systematically describing the facts and characteristics of the object being studied accurately. The results of this research are based on questionnaire data that has been submitted to the community (respondents) of Kadidia Village, it is known that the level of community participation in the development of Kadidia hot spring tourism, overall is at a high level (300). This shows that overall, the community is very supportive of the development and management of hot spring tourism in Kadidia Village. |
