Abstrak This study aims to obtain data on the diversity of butterfly species in the former gold mining area in Malomba Village, Dondo District, Toli-Toli Regency The method used is to collect data on the type and number of individuals of each butterfly species using the path transect method. Observers walk on foot by following the direction of the transect center line gradually as far as 500 m starting from 09.00-11.00 and in the afternoon at 14.00-17.00 WITA according to the active time of the butterfly. The data analysis used was the Shannon and Wienner species diversity index and the t-student test. The results of the study found 16 species of butterflies from 3 families, from both river paths and gardens, found one endemic type of butterfly, namely Graphium Anthedon Millon. In the gold mining river path in Malomba Village, Dondo District, Toli-Toli Regency, a butterfly species diversity index value was found with H'=2.21 and in the garden path with a value of H'=2.18. with the index value to This diversity indicates that the diversity index in the 2 (Two) lines is classified as medium. The results of data analysis using the t-student test, showed that the index of butterfly species diversity in river and garden paths, there were differences. |
