Abstrak
Indonesia is one of the countries known for its natural resources both on land (especially forest resources), and waters (sea). With so much natural wealth in Indonesia that it can be developed and utilized as one of the tourist attractions. The potential and attractiveness of natural tourism owned by Indonesia, among others, in the form of biodiversity, beauty of landscapes, natural phenomena, historical heritage, uniqueness and authenticity of traditional culture that can be utilized optimally for the welfare of society. This condition actually has great potential in the field of natural tourism and is not inferior to countries that have tourism. Tilanga Spring is one of the many natural attractions in Tana Toraja. This spring is a natural bath with a pool measuring 15 x 25 meters. The natural scenery is very attractive to visitors. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential of natural tourism Tilanga Spring in Sarira Village, Makale Utara Subdistrict, Tana Toraja Regency and the feasibility level to develop it. The implementation of this research was carried out for two months, from January to March 2024. This research method used descriptive qualitative method, through observation and interviews. In this study the number of visitor respondents was determined as many as 31 people. The results showed that the natural tourism potential of Tilanga Spring includes attractiveness including the uniqueness of natural resources, activities carried out, cleanliness, safety and comfort are sufficient to be considered suitable as a nature tourism location. It is said to be feasible as a natural tourism location, accessibility which includes conditions, distance, type of road, and travel time also supports the development of natural tourism at that location, while the criteria for facilities and infrastructure still do not meet the criteria for natural tourism potential. The results of the feasibility analysis of the natural tourism potential of Tilanga Spring obtained an overall average percentage of 84.22%. Where for the attractiveness criteria obtained an index value of 91.66%, accessibility with an index value of 95.83%, and facilities and infrastructure with an index value of 50%. The results of the feasibility analysis show that Tilanga Spring located in Sarira Village, Makale Utara Tana Toraja Regency is feasible to be developed as a tourist destination.
