| Abstrak Forest and land rehabilitation is one of the government’s efforts to address critical land ini Indonesia. Forest and land rehabilitation is considered a strategic effort to maintain forets and land functions so that the carrying capcity and productivity of life are maintained. The government, in prioritizing forest and land rehabilitation actovities, cannot stand alone in creating sustainable forest and prosperous communities. The governmentrequires cooperation from varios parties, including the private sector, the wider community/forest farmer groups. Farmer groups as part of the farmer community are formed based on a work agreement to work together under the coordination of the chairman and relevant stakeholders to carry out and implement forest and rehabilitation activities. The implementation of RHL activities in Bangga Village is carried out through self-managed forest farmer groups under the coordination of the Watershed Control Center (BPDAS) and Central Sulawesi Forest Program III (FP III). This research was carried out in July-October 2023 in Bangga Village, South Dolo District, Sigi Regency. Data collection was carried out trhough obesrvation and in-indepth interviews, with snowball sampling and data were analyzed using a modified Likert scale measurement technique with 1-3-5 scaling. The role of forest farmer groups in the forest and land rehabilitation program in Bangga Village is classified as moderate. Influenced by answer of farmer groups to improve their standart of living and have a fairly high awarness of the importance of conserving forest and have a sense of responsibility for tasks given. |
