Abstrak
Indonesia is a country with a high risk of natural disasters due to its geographical location at the convergence of three major tectonic plates. Boladangko Village, located in Kulawi District, Sigi Regency, faces a significant threat from disasters such as floods and landslides due to its hilly terrain and high rainfall. This study aims to identify stakeholders involved in disaster mitigation, analyze their level of influence and interest, and provide recommendations for more effective mitigation strategies. This research employs a descriptive-qualitative method, utilizing in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders and direct field observations. The findings indicate that the key stakeholders in disaster mitigation in Boladangko Village include the village government, local communities, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Mercy Corps, and the Forestry Department. The primary roles of these stakeholders include policymaking and coordination (village government and BPBD), weather data provision (BMKG), as well as training and environmental rehabilitation (Mercy Corps). However, disaster mitigation efforts face several challenges, including low community awareness, limited resources, and a lack of coordination among stakeholders. Therefore, strengthening institutional synergy, empowering communities through education, and implementing forest rehabilitation are strategic measures that need to be adopted to enhance the village’s disaster resilience.
