Abstrak DEO RIRI PANGGALO- L 131 18 422, Phytochemical Analysis and Antioxidant Activity of Young Leaves and Skin of Nyamplung (Calophyllum inophyllum Linn) Derived from Malei Village, Balaesang District, Donggala Regency, Supervised by Erniwati and Abdul Hapid. Nyamplung plant (Calophyllum inophyllum Linn) is one of the tropical plants with high polyphenol antioxidant content. Traditional use of nyamplung includes the use of the leaves as a medicine for various skin disorders, such as eruptions, ulcers and wounds. In addition, the dried leaves are used for rheumatism and an infusion of the leaves is used for dysentery and sore eyes. Medicinal use Calophyllum inophyllum as antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-dyslipidemic, analgesic, larvicidal, HIV1-integrase, and enzyme reverse-transcriptase inhibitor and protease. This research was conducted from April to June 2022 at the Research Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The method used in this research is descriptive method by looking at changes in color and liquid form in alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, carotenoids, terpenoids and steroids. Phytochemical analysis was carried out on the ethanol extract of young leaves and nyamplung peels. The DPPH method was used to determine its antioxidant activity. The results of the analysis of the phytochemical tests found on young leaves and nyamplung bark (Calophyllum inophyllum Linn) using 96% ethanol solvent on young nyamplung leaves positively contained 5 compounds namely Flavonoids, Tannins, Saponins, Steroids and Carotenoids while positive nyamplung bark contained 3 compounds namely Flavonoids, Tannins and Terpenoids. The results of the antioxidant activity test of nyamplung leaf extract using the DPPH method on young leaves had an IC50 of 195.499 ppm and for skin types an IC50 value of 212.645 ppm. The antioxidant activity of young leaf extract using 96% ethanol solvent is weak on young young leaves and very weak on nyamplung skin. |
