| Abstrak Birds are the most well-known organisms among the earth biodiversity, however, the quantity ofknowledge about their species and their area is still incomplete, this is a challenge in bird conservation activities that also need to be carried out in research at Tambing Lake which is one of the Lore Lindu National Park Areas. This research needs to be carried out because there is no data regarding the diversity of bird species. This researchaims to identify the diversity of bird species when there are not enough or lots of visitors at Tambing Lake in the Lore Lindu National Park Areas. This research used the line transect method on bird-watching tourism routes. Observations were conducted twice a day with a period of 05.30 to 09.00 WITA in the morning and 15.00 to 18.00 WITA in theafternoon. Data recording was carried out by observing the diversity of bird speciesin the entire area of the observation which was recorded at each location pointfor 5 to 10 minutes when visitors were quiet and crowded as material forcomparison of the level of diversity of bird species. The results of the researchshow that when there are few visitors at Telaga Tambing, there are 52 bird species with 411 individuals and species diversity index value is moderate, namely H’=3.59, as well as when there are many visitors, there are 52 bird species with 346 individuals and the species diversity index value relatively high, namely H’=360, it is found that there is a comparison of the level of species diversity between the number of species and the number of individual birds observed in the Tambing Lake, Lore Lindu National Park, Central Sulawesi Province. |
