Abstrak
Nyatoh (Palaquium obtusifolium Burck) is a type of plant native to Indonesia that grows on marshy soil and on dry land with an altitude of 20-500 m above sea level. This plant has a fairly high ecological and economic value. The ecological value in question is to function for soil and water conservation, while the economic value is that the wood products produced have a fairly high selling price in the market.This research was carried out for 3 months starting from October to January 2023, located in Enu Village, Sindue District, Dongala regency, Central Sulawesi province. This study uses purposive sampling method with a land area of 2,640 m2 with a total of 220 trees, data collection only on trees that have a diameter of >20cm and observe the symptoms of disease found in nyatoh. The results showed that the disease in Nyatoh stands caused by 2 types of stem cancer caused by the fungus Verticillum sp. and Ceratocysti sp with symptoms on the stem in the form of black spots from the base up and then found the fungus on the skin peeled off. Leaf spot disease caused by the fungus Phomopsis sp. As well as leaf blight disease caused by fungi Phytopthora sp with symptoms of blackish brown spots on the periphery of the leaves and over time spread and then the leaves will become wilted. The condition of the stands in Enu Village, Sindue District, Donggala Regency is included in the moderate damage criteria with an average attack frequency of 82.6% and attack intensity of 39.6%.
