Abstrak To produce quality seedlings, it is necessary to use a medium with a composition of organic materials and essential nutrients for plant growth and development to thrive. Moringa leaves can be used as an alternative to produce liquid organic fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from moringa leaves on the growth of nyatoh seedlings. The study was conducted for 3 months, from March to June 2023, at the Permanent Seedbed of the Palu-Poso Watershed Management Agency, Tadulako University, Palu. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatment levels of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) concentrations: Without LOF/Control (P1), LOF Moringa Leaf Concentration 150ml/liter of water (P1), LOF Moringa Leaf Concentration 200ml/liter of water (P2), LOF Moringa Leaf Concentration 250ml/liter of water (P3). Each of the four treatments was repeated seven times, resulting in a total of 4x7=28 seedling units required. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at a 5% significance level to determine the significance of the treatment effects. The research results indicate that the application of liquid organic fertilizer from moringa leaves does not significantly affect the growth of nyatoh seedlings. However, there is a tendency for the P2 treatment to perform better than the other treatments, with an increase in height of 7.8cm compared to 4cm for P0, 7.7cm for P1, and 5cm for P3. The increase in the number of leaves for P2 is 4.29 leaves, while P0 has 1.57 leaves, P1 has 2.14 leaves, and P3 has 3 leaves. The increase in stem diameter for P2 is 0.39mm, while P0 has 0.24mm, P1 has 0.23mm, and P3 has 0.39mm. Keywords : :Liquid fertilizer, Moringa leaves, Nyato seedlings |
