Abstrak Mahogany is a forestry plant that has the potential to be developed as a forest plant with commercial value. The provision of organic fertilizer from cow dung will contribute nutrients to plants and increase the absorption of nutrients by plants. The advantage of rice husk charcoal is that it can improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil, and protect plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the dose of cow dung compost, rice husk charcoal and the interaction of the dose of cow dung compost and rice husk charcoal in the planting medium on the growth of mahogany seedlings (Swietenia mahagoni (L.) Jacq.) The study was conducted for three months in September-December 2024 at the BPDAS Palu Poso nursery. This study used the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with a factorial pattern consisting of 2 factors, namely: the first factor is the dose of cow dung compost and the second factor is rice husk charcoal. Each treatment was repeated 9 times, so that a total of 54 seedling units were used. The observation parameters were height increase, number of leaves, diameter. For the observation parameters, the analysis of variance (F) test was used. If the calculated F is greater than the F table by 5%, then a further test of the Smallest Real Difference (HSD) was carried out at a real level of 5%.. The results of the study showed that all treatments had a significant effect on the increase in height, diameter and number of leaves of mahogany seedlings. The best treatment was obtained from a combination of 100g cow dung compost and 1:1 rice husk charcoal/polybag (P1M1) which gave an increase in height of 9.67 cm, diameter of 2.55 mm, and number of leaves of 7.55 strands Keywords:.
