| Abstrak The problem of the growth and development of a city will have an impact on changes in land use, this phenomenon is easily visible physically marked by the increasing number of built-up land and the decreasing Green Open Space in the city, where the growth and development of cities will put pressure on the diminishing carrying capacity of land , resulting in a decrease in the quality of life of the population. The existence of Green Open Space is needed to improve the quality of the environment in urban areas ecologically, aesthetically, and socially. This research was conducted for 3 months, starting from January to March 2023 which took place in Mantikulore District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. Based on the research results, the fulfillment of Green Open Space (RTH) based on oxygen demand in Mantikulore District is 900,463 Ha and the need for Green Open Space (RTH) based on area is 6,204 Ha where the area of Green Open Space currently available in Mantikulore District is only 11,900.36 Ha. From these results it can be concluded that the need for Green Open Space in Mantikulore District has met the applicable standards. |
