Abstrak Indonesia is the second country that has the most butterfly species in the world with more than 2000 species spread throughout the archipelago. This study aims to determine the composition of butterfly species and butterfly species that are associated with each other around Lake Rano, Balaesang Tanjung District, Donggala Regency. This research was conducted from April to May 2023 located around Lake Rano, Rano Village, Balaesang Tanjung District, Donggala Regency. Data collection methods using the transect path method The presence of each species will be recorded from each point observed and the data found are entered into a 2 × 2 contingency table. Association analysis is calculated based on the formula found by Goodall. Based on the results and discussion of butterfly species found as many as 19 species from 5 families namely Pieridae, Papilionidae, Lycaenidae and Hesperiidae. The results of the Chi-square test and comparison there are six associations formed from 10 types of butterflies that are categorized as associated because they have a value of X²count> 3.841, namely Junonia intermedia and Panteporia antara, Parthenos sylvia and Hypolimnas anomala, Parthenos sylvia and Jamides sp, Parthenos sylvia and Neptis ida, Leptosia nina and Catopsilia scyla, Orsotriaena jopas and Papilio gigon. |
