| Abstrak One of the plants that grow naturally in natural forests is Eboni (Diospyros celebica Bakh). Which has the local name of ebony or charcoal wood and belongs to the tribe Ebenaceae. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of soil chemical properties which include soil pH (H2O), Carbon (C-organic), Nitrogen (N-total), Phosphorus (P-available), and Cation Exchange Capacity. This research was conducted from February to May 2022 in Betania Village, Sintuwu Maroso KPH Region, Poso Pesisir District, Poso Regency. Soil sampling is carried out deliberately with certain considerations, namely soil sampling comes from the upper slope, middle slope, and lower slope. A sampling at each location at as many as five predetermined points, then soil samples. Analysis of soil samples was carried out at the Soil Science Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako The results showed that the chemical properties of the soil under the ebony natural stand were as follows. |
