| Abstrak A polybag is a rectangular plastic with a dominant black color that is used to sow plants with a certain size according to the type of plant and the purpose of the nursery. The size of the polybag varies according to its purpose, where the size refers to length, height and width. This research was conducted from August to November 2022, which took place in Dolago Village, South Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with the following mathematical model, which consisted of 4 treatments of polybag size as a growing media container, namely U1 = Diameter 10 cm x height 15 cm; U2 = diameter 12 cm x height 17 cm; U3 = diameter 15 cm x height 20 cm; U4 = diameter 17 cm x height 25 cm. Each of the four treatments was repeated ten times so that a total of 40 propagules were needed. The results showed that the size of the polybag had a significant effect on the growth of shoot height, shoot diameter and had no significant effect on the number of leaves. Polybags with a large size of 17 cm x 25 cm (U4) produced better seedling growth, namely, shoot height (7.97 cm), shoot diameter (0.99 mm). |
