| Abstrak Factors that limit the growth of Nyatoh (Palaquium obtusifolium Burck.) among them are nutrition (nutrients), water, and light. One way to overcome this is with chicken coop compost, which is a good source of macro and micro nutrients that increase soil fertility, become a substrate for soil microorganisms, and increase microbial activity. The application of chicken coop compost can also improve the physical properties of the soil and increase the cycle of nutrients to encourage plant growth. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of chicken manure organic fertilizer on the growth of Nyatoh seedlings (Palaquium obtusifolium Burck). This research was carried out for 3 months, namely from January to April 2024. This research was carried out in the Permanent Nursery area of the BPDAS-HL Palu Poso Protected Forest Watershed Management Center located at Tadulako University, Palu. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment levels, namely: P0 = control soil, P1 = 1 kg soil + 200g chicken manure organic fertilizer, P2 = soil 1 kg + Chicken manure organic fertilizer 250g, and P3 = 1 kg soil + 300g chicken manure organic fertilizer. The parameters observed were increase in height, increase in number of leaves, increase in diameter. Data analysis used the 5% F test, then further testing using the 5% BNJ test. The results of the research showed that treatment with various doses of chicken manure compost had a significant effect on the increase in height, diameter and number of leaves in Nyatoh seedlings. The best treatment in this study was the P3 treatment (1 kg soil + 300g chicken manure compost) with an increase in height of 9.17 cm, an increase in diameter of 2.17 mm and an increase in the number of leaves of 7.11 pieces and BNJ test results with an average value. height is 4.98%, the average value of diameter is 1.53% and the average value of number of leaves is 3.32%.
