Abstrak The Bare'e tribe in Padang Tumbuo Village, Ampana Kota District, Tojo Una-una Regency, still tends to utilize traditional medicinal plants for treating illnesses. This research aims to identify the types, plant parts, processing methods, and utilization of medicinal plants for treating diseases by the Bare'e tribe in Padang Tumbuo Village, Ampana Kota District, Tojo Una-una Regency. This research uses a descriptive design, employing purposive sampling. Interviews used an open-ended interview technique, with questionnaires as a basic reference when asking questions to the Bare'e community. The research results revealed 30 types of medicinal plants from 20 families. The percentage of plant parts used was as follows: leaves 42%, stem 10%, bark 4%, fruit 8%, roots 16%, rhizome 4%, sap 2%, and the whole plant 14%. The percentage of processing methods was: boiling 58%, grinding 10%, brewing 4%, pounding 22%, and squeezing 6%. The percentage of utilization methods was: drinking 71%, applying 15%, pasting 12%, and dripping 2%. |
