| Abstrak Ebony wood is a specia of wood that is durable, luxurious, beautiful, and has high economic value which is now increasingly rare. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of the chemical properties of the soil which included soil pH (H2O), Carbon (C-organic), Nitrogen (N-total), Phosphorus (P-available), and Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) under stands. Natural Ebony Forest (Diospyros celebica Bakh) in the Sojol Mountain Nature Reserve, Donggala Regency, This research was carried out from January to March 2022 in an area of ??natural ebony forest stands in the Sojol Mountain Nature Reserve area. Soil sampling was carried out intentionally with certain considerations, namely soil sampling from peaks, slopes, and valleys. Sampling at each location was three points that had been determined, then soil samples were . Soil sample analysis was carried out at the Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University The results showed that the chemical properties of the soil under natural ebony stands were as follows: Chemical properties of the soil under natural ebony stands stands in mountain Sojol natural reserve tend to acid slightly acid (5,39-5,66), high-very high (4,76-5,31%), in C-organik very low-low (0,10-0,13%), in N-total, low (18,47-23,94 ppm) P-available and medium in CEC (20,39-22,39 cmol (+)kg-1). |
