Abstrak Biodiversity is a very important national asset and needs to be preserved and utilized. This biodiversity wealth has an attachment to the culture of the local community. The Pekurehua tribe is a local community that still has a tradition of mixing plants into medicine as an alternative in healing an illness. This study aims to record the types of plants that are used as medicine, the parts of plants that are used, and how they are used. This research was conducted for two months, from September 2023 to November 2023 in Wuasa Village, North Lore Sub-district, Poso District, Central Sulawesi Province. The method used was descriptive qualitative research method with observation and interview techniques in the field. In this case, all Pekurehua people who still utilize medicinal plants. Based on the results of interviews with respondents, there are around 32 types of medicinal plants from 22 families that are used to treat various diseases. The utilization of plant parts by the Pekurehua tribe consists of leaves by 52%, then rhizomes by 16%, sap by 10%, fruit by 13%, then roots by 6%, and stems by 3%. The way to use medicinal plants from the pekurehua trible is still relatively simple, namely by boiled 53%, smear 16%, grating 9%, drink straight 9%,smoothed 6%, soak 3%, and mashing 3%.
