| Abstrak Forest is an ecosystem unit in the form of a stretch of land containing biological natural resources that have so many functions, one of which is: The forest plays the role of storing and absorbing water which will flow it to rivers through watershed systems (DAS). The role of each component The watershed greatly determines the quality of the watershed ecosystem. River as one the components that make up the watershed have such a large ecological role, function the river will run well along with the increasing quality of the river Therefore the quality of the border is marked by looking at the diversity of vegetation which grows along the banks of the river. Seeing the importance of the function of vegetation on the border of the river, the authors are interested in raising the topic of research, regarding diversity of vegetation types along the riverbank.
