| Abstrak Macaca tonkeana is the one of endemic species distributed in Central Sulawesi. Macaca tonkeana in Toboli Barat Village have experienced changes in behavior patterns, especially in eating behavior patterns. This is caused by road users who pass around Toboli Barat, Parigi Moutong Village often feed them, This feeding activity by humans has gradually made the tonkeana macaque accustomed to human activity. The purpose of this study was to identify the habitat of boti monkeys and study the daily behavior patterns of Macaca tonkeana in West Toboli Village, Parigi Moutong. This research was carried out by using scan sampling while the habitat vegetation inventory used the multiple plot method of 30 plots. The results showed that the activities most often carried out by Macaca tonkeana were eating as much as 41.7%, then followed by resting, moving, foraging, grooming, playing, dressing up, fighting, and mating activities. The results of the analysis of the vegetation index calculated based on the number obtained to determine the level of species dominance in a plant community, the highest INP for tree level vegetation was Albizia chinensis Merr (sengon) with an INP value of 22.82%, and the lowest INP at the tree level was Cananga. odorata (andolia) with an INP value of 7.03%. |
