Abstrak Changes in vegetation density are very important information in managing forest monitoring and controlling land use change. Changes that occur from certain periods of time need to be known to be used as spatial information in determining management towards a better direction. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in vegetation density that occurred in Rio Pakava District, Donggala Regency from 2017 to 2022 using Sentinel-2 imagery. The method used in this research is digital image analysis using NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and supervised classification with Maximum Likelihood Classification method, field surveys, as well as testing the accuracy of the Overall Accuracy and Kappa Accuracy. The results showed that there was a change in the vegetation area of each land cover class with a total change of 24.103,14 Ha, which is divided into cloud class land cover with a total change of 277,59 Ha, then water bodies with a total change of 99,36 Ha, in forest class land cover with a total change of 10.968,25 Ha, then for the plantation category with a total change of 6.314,27 Ha, in the residential category has an area of 679.27 Ha, then for the open land category with a total change of 1.222,34 Ha, then for the mixed dry land agriculture category has an area of 1,023.56 Ha, then for the shrub land cover category with a total change 3,518.50 Ha, then to test the accuracy of the accuracy with overall accuracy obtained by 88.75% and for kappa accuracy obtained a value of 85.94% |
