Abstrak Artocarpus is a member of the Moraceae family which is generally useful as a fruit plant. Artocarpus types usually have a bush or tree habit, and have stem characteristics that produce a special liquid (sap). Ultisol soil is soil that undergoes a podsolization process, namely the translocation process of the top humus horizon of Al and Fe. Organic matter content, base saturation and low Ph. This research aims to determine the growth of Artocarpus on Ultisol planting media. This research was carried out for three months, from April to July at the BPDASHL Palu Poso Permanent Nursery, Tadulako University Campus, Central Sulawesi. This research used the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method which consisted of two planting media treatments, namely: M1 = Ultisol Soil and M2 = Ultisol Soil + Goat Manure, with 6 replications so that the total seedling units needed were 2×3×6 = 36 seedlings. The analysis of variance used to determine the effect of treatment has a real or non-significant effect on the observed parameters, namely the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) follow-up test at a real level of 5%. The composition of Ultisol soil media mixed with various organic materials such as goat manure, has a significant effect on Artocarpus seedling growth, namely seedling height, diameter and index of all seedlings. The best treatment was the ultisol soil treatment (M1J3) compared to other types with a height of 26.86 cm, a diameter of 5.43 mm, a number of leaves of 4.83 and a seed quality index of 4.97. |
