| Abstrak The interaction between the community and the upstream sub-watershed has been going on for a long time because the upstream sub-watershed provides benefits to the community. The existence of the upstream sub-watershed provides an opportunity for the community to utilize it to meet their daily clean water needs. The Tipo Village community generally only relies on the agricultural sector for their livelihoods. Community knowledge of the watershed is very high, because the Tipo community lives directly adjacent to the watershed. The Tipo watershed is located not far from the community settlement. The community is dependent on the watershed to fulfill their needs. The Tipo Village community utilizes the watershed in the form of community activities, namely collecting sand and stone to be sold to sand and stone mining companies. This research aims to find out how the community interacts with the upstream sub-watershed. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that community interaction with upstream sub-watershed resources in Tipo Village is high because it is the main source of clean water. Community interaction and watersheds are realized in the form of community activities in the form of sand and stone mining company activities, agricultural land use, settlements.
