Abstrak Biomass is a biological material derived from organisms or living things. Carbon is one of the natural elements which is also one of the main elements forming organic materials including living things. Land on teak stands is generally the same as other lands. However, there are things that distinguish between fields, namely the content of each biomass of these plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of biomass and litter carbon in standing super teak (Tectona grandis L.f) and agroforestry land in Uwemanje Village, Kinovaro District, Sigi District, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted for three months on super teak stands (Tectona grandis L.f) and agroforestry land in Uwemanje Village, Kinovaro District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The research method uses the survey path method. The results showed that the total content of biomass and carbon of litter in teak stands (Tectona grandis L. f) at the study site obtained an average biomass content of 1.622 tons/ha. The average carbon is 0.811 ton/ha. The amount of biomass obtained on agroforestry land averages 1.27 tons/ha. And the average carbon is 0.635 ton/ha. Biomass and carbon in teak stands are greater than the amount in agroforestry lands. |
