| Abstrak Indonesia is a country with a high potential for bird species diversity reaching 1598 bird species and 372 of which are endemic. Birds are components of natural ecosystems or animals that have important meaning for an ecosystem as well as for the benefit of human life. The role of birds which is quite important is to help control insect populations, help pollinate flowers and disperse seeds. The purpose of this study was to calculate the diversity of bird species in the RHL area of Wisolo Village, Dolo Selatan District, Sigi Regency. It is hoped that the usefulness of this research can become information material for related agencies in efforts to manage wild animals, especially birds, which are in the RHL area of Wisolo Village. This research was carried out from December 2021 to January 2022 which took place in the RHL area of Wisolo Village, Dolo Selatan District, Sigi Regency. Data collection techniques used the Point Count method and to determine bird habitats used the IVI vegetation analysis method (important value index). Based on the results of the study there were 32 species from 19 families. The species diversity index (H') is 3.3082, this indicates the species diversity index (H') is included in the high criteria. The evenness index of bird species is 1.0874 which shows that the distribution is quite even. The plant species that are often found in lanes 1, 2 and 3 are Cocos mucifera L, Theobromo cacao L, Muntingia calabura, Capparis sp, Nephrolepis sp, Justicia sp.
