| Abstrak The development of nyatoh needs to be supported by good media to produce quality seeds, one alternative for preparing a good media is to add organic matter, one of which is solid organic fertilizer made from palm oil. This study aims to determine the effect of various doses of solid organic fertilizer based on solid oil palm on the growth of nyatoh (Palaqium Sp) seedlings. This study used a completely randomized design method, with fertilizer doses, namely: P0 = Soil without fertilizer (Control), P1 = 1 kg soil + 100 g fertilizer, P2 = 1 kg soil + 150 g fertilizer, P3 = 1 kg soil + 200 g fertilizer, and P4 = 1 kg of soil + 250 g of fertilizer. Each treatment was repeated six times, so the number of experimental units was thirty (30) experimental units. Parameters observed were increase in seedling height, diameter, and number of leaves. The results showed that the average increase in height, diameter, and number of nyatoh seedlings in treatment P4 was significantly different from treatments P3, P2, P1 and P0. The treatment that gave the best response to the growth of nyatoh seedlings was the P4 treatment (1 kg soil + 250 g fertilizer), on all growth parameters. |
