Abstrak
Watershed management (DAS) is expected to provide a framework towards achieving sustainable development. The current condition of the Sambo sub-watershed needs attention because there have been several natural disasters that have harmed the community, such as erosion, landslides, and floods during high rainfall. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of erosion hazard in the Sambo sub-watershed by using a Geographic Information System with the Universal Soil Loss Equation method. Erosion hazard level research was carried out in the Sambo Sub-watershed for 3 months, from February to April 2021 using the Universal Soil Loss Equation method and Geographic Information System, namely Overlay (Overlay) from several data (erosion determinant parameters) to determine the level of erosion hazard in the area. Sambo sub-watershed. The results of the study using Geographic Information Systems and the Universal Soil Loss Equation method found the amount of soil eroded in the Sambo Sub-watershed 6,505.63 tons/ha/year and the erosion rate was divided into 5 classes, namely class I (very light) erosion rate <15>480 tons/ha/year with an area of ??6.76 Ha.
