| Abstrak This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the distribution pattern and habitat of the Silver-tipped Imperial Pigeon On Pasoso Island, many people carry out tree cutting activities to make boats. In this tree felling, it is possible to carry out tree species as nesting sites and the main food source for Silver-tipped Imperial Pigeon birds. The technique of data collection is done by using the Point count method. Observations were made on the sample unit (counting point) in the form of a circle with a radius of r = 25 m. Placement of sample units (counting points) using the Systematic Sampling method. The distribution pattern of the Silver-tipped Imperial Pigeon in the Pasoso Island Wildlife Sanctuary area was categorized as clustered. For the old secondary habitat type it has an INP value of 0.01, for the garden habitat type it has an Ip value of 0.02 and for the bush habitat type it has an Ip value of 0.04. The most dominant type of vegetation at the tree level was Cocos nucifera with an INP value of 179.63%, for the pole level the most dominant was Syzygium sp. 3 with an INP value of 256.24%, then the most dominant type of sapling is Phoebe sp. 1 with an INP value of 96.736%, while for the seedling level the most dominant was Syzygium sp. 3 with an INP value of 72.924%. |
