| Abstrak Nepenthes is an understorey that has the ability to prey on insects so this plant is classified as a carnivorous plant that generally lives on nutrient poor soils. Nepenthes Is not only found in lowland tropical forests, but also in mountain forests, peat forests, cragas forests, limestone mountains, savannas and even lakes. Nepenthes mostly grows on the mainland of Kalimantan, Sumatra and Sulawesi, and it is estimated there are 64 species of pitcher plant that have been found growing in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution pattern (Nepenthes maxima reinw) in Padang Padeha Lore Lindu National Park. This study used a purposive sampling method, then at the location where the species (Nepenthes maxima reinw) was made a discontinuous observation plot with each plot size of 10m x 10m. The results of this study are, the distribution pattern (Nepenthes Maxima Reinw) has the same distribution pattern, the random distribution pattern because Morisita index (I????) is in the low category with a value of less than 1, there were 7 research plots that had been observed with the overall individual value in all plots 186 individuals (Nepenthes Maxima Reinw), for the highest Morisita Index (I????) value found in plot 1 with a value of 0.24 with an altitude of 1564 mdpl, while the lowest Morisita Index (I????) value is in plot 5 with a value of 0.04 and with an altitude of 1568 mdpl |
