Rattan belongs to the climbing Palmae tribe, which grows in clumps or singly and is classified into the Aracaceae/ Palmae family. One of the forest areas in Central Sulawesi that grows rattan is the community forest area of Wombo Kalonggo Village. This study aims to determine the diversity of totan species that exist in the community forest area in Wombo Kalonggo Village, Central Sulawesi. This research was conducted in January 2023. This research was located in the community forest area of Wombo Kalonggo Village, Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. This study uses a survey method by making 3 (three) lines that intersect the contour lines. The selection of the placement of the first plot was carried out purposively or purposively based on the findings of the type of rattan that was first found, for the creation of a plot with a length of 1,000m consisting of 50 plots with an area of 20m x 20m, three lanes were made using Systematic Sampling, the distance between the lanes 200m. The results of this study found 5 (five) types of rattan in all observation lines, namely Tintivuku rattan (Calamus ornatus, Blume.) Hoa (Calamus arnatus var. celebicus BI.), Abu rattan (Calamus sp.), Hoa rattan (Calamus arnatus var. . celebicus BI.), Batang rattan (Calamus zollingerii, Becc.) and Tohiti rattan (Calamus inops.) with a total number of 620 individuals. The type of rattan that dominates growth in this study location is Tintivuku rattan (Calamus ornatus, Blume.) with IVI. of 63.85%, while the lowest value is Tohiti Rattan (Calamus inops.) with an IVI value of 16.63%. The level of diversity of rattan species in the research location has an H' value of 1.42 which is classified as being abundant.
