Abstrak
Watersheds are natural ecosystems bordered by ridges. The rainwater that falls in the area will flow into the rivers which eventually empties into the sea or into the lake. Erosion is the loss or removal of soil or parts of land from a place by water or wind. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of erosion in the Dolago watershed based on the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method, as well as a source of information on the level of erosion for the community. This research was conducted from May to July 2020 in the Dolago Watershed, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi. The method used is direct survey and soil sampling for analysis materials in the laboratory. Sampling was carried out deliberately (purposive sampling) on several land uses, namely mixed dry land agriculture, rice fields, bush/grove, primary land forest, secondary land forest, and dry land agriculture. The results showed that the Dolago watershed was dominated by forest, namely primary land forest with a land area of 13,724.43 hectares. Meanwhile, those that belong to the lowest area are mixed dry land farming with an area of 319.53 hectares. Based on the calculation of the rate of erosion using the USLE method and the classification of erosion hazard levels in several types of land use in the Dolago watershed, it is 743,2869 ton /ha/ year
