Abstrak
The tarsier is a primate species endemic to the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Need to do research on the characteristics of the axle to determine the utilization of nesting places. The research was conducted in October to December 2020 in the village Kamarora B, Lore Lindu National Park. The Data collected consists of the Diameter of the Nesting Place, High Place of Nesting, the total Height of the Nesting Place, Hole Nesting in One of the Trees and vegetation type, activity log starting at 04.00-07.00 continued 07.30-10.00 and 16.00, every day for three months. Vegetation used as a tree bed or nest is a bamboo (Bambuseae sp.), banyan (Ficus sp.), shrubs, Gamelina, and bark. The distribution of tarsier includes secondary forest, plantations, agricultural land, farm. Not all trees can be used as a nesting place, only the particular trees which can be used as a nesting place. Tangkasi in choosing a tree that can be used as a nesting place has certain characteristics that cause a sense of security.
