Abstrak Forest encroach is defined as individuals or groups in relatively small numbers or large groups, occupying a forest area to be used as a plantation, agricultural or residential area, either temporarily or for a long period of time in a state forest area. The protected forest located in Uwemanje Village, Kinovaro District, Sigi Regency is one of the protected forest areas that has a lot of encroachment activities. This study uses a descriptive approach with image interpretation techniques using sentinel 2A images, data analysis used is binary logistic regression analysis using two factors, namely, distance from settlements and slopes. Based on the results of the study, the Nagelkerke R square value was (37.9%) which means that the independent variable is strong enough to provide information on the encroachment of protected forests in Uwemanje Village, as for the binary logistic regression model in the Protected Forest area of Uwemanje Village, Kinovaro District, Sigi Regency, namely Logit (x) = - 6.442 + 1.442(X1) + 0.002(X2). |
