| Abstrak Community knowledge about the use of non-timber forest products is obtained from generation to generation from their parents. This study aims to describe the community's knowledge of the use of non-timber forest products. This research was conducted for 2 months, namely in October 2019-November 2019 in the Prosperous Village of Palolo District, Sigi Regency. This research was conducted with a porposive sampling method and in this research is descriptive statistics using the presentation of data through tables and percentage calculations. Primary data sources, and data collection techniques are more on observations where researchers go directly to the location to be investigated by conducting interviews and documentation. The results of the research on forest resources utilized by the community are groups of food plants, medicinal plants, and wood-producing plants. The level of community dependence of Desa Sejahtera on forest resources is relatively high because most of the community's needs come from forest resources in the form of food plants, medicinal plants, firewood-producing plants |
