Abstrak
Forests have great potential for CO2 absorption because forests have diverse tree compositions, broad leaves, and tend to have high stand density. In addition, forests also have an important role for the world's climate and the people living around forests. So that the calculation of the estimated stand potential is one of the important steps that can be taken to determine the estimated potential value. This study aims to determine the potential value of stand volume, biomass, and carbon stock in Limited Production Forest in Sindosa Village by using the stratification method based on the density level (dense, medium, rare) from the measurement results above the image. The results showed that the estimated potential value in the dense density class was entirely greater than the medium and rare density classes. The estimated volume potential value in the dense density class is 215,04 m3 and for medium is 62,45 m3 and rarely is 17,53 m3. The estimated biomass potential in the dense density class is 125 tons and for the medium density class it is 36,20 tons and the rare density class is 12,21 tons. The estimated potential for tree carbon stocks based on density class stratification with the total estimated value for the dense density class is 66,50 tons, for the medium density class the total estimated value is 17,02 tons, and for the estimated total value for the rare density class 5,74 tons. Keywords: statification, stand volume, biomass, carbon stock
