| Abstrak One of the important factors to determine the success of planting mahogany is the availability of quality seeds. A very important factor for the availability of quality seeds is the availability of water and nutrients, one of which is fertilizer. Tofu liquid waste can be used as a new alternative that is used as fertilizer because in the tofu liquid waste it has the availability of nutrients needed by plants. This study aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer based on tofu liquid waste on the growth of mahogany seedlings (Swietenia mahagoni (L) Jacq). This research was carried out from October 2020 to January 2021, at the BPDAS Palu Poso permanent nursery. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method consisting of 4 treatments, namely P0 = no fertilizer (control), P1 = 10% concentration of tofu liquid waste POC + water / 10 seedlings, P2 = 20% concentration of tofu liquid waste POC + water / 10 seedlings, P3 = 30% concentration of POC liquid waste tofu + water / 10 seedlings. each treatment was repeated 10 times so that there were 40 experimental units, the observation parameters were increase in seedling height, seedling stem diameter and increase in the number of leaves. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance F test with a level of 5% to determine whether the treatment was real or not. The results showed that the effect of giving organic tofu liquid waste to the growth of mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni (L) Jacq.). |
