Abstrak
Moringa plant is a malnutrition plant that has high nutritional value, it is also a conservation plant because it can grow in dry land and even tolerates drought for up to 6 months. To cultivate Moringa, it is necessary to add organic fertilizers such as manure. The use of manure will return the organic matter into the soil resulting in an increas in crop production. This study aims to determine the effect of the type of manure and composition on moringa growth. This research was conducted for three months, from January to March 2020, located in Pombewe Village, Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. The research method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial pattern consisting of three types of manure combined with three level of composition with 9 experimental units and 5 replications. The manure treatments are cow manure (P1), goat manure (P2) and Chicken manure (P3) combined with the composition (D1) 1 soil: 1 manure, (D2) 2 soil: 1 manure, (D3 ) 3 soil: 1 manure. The results of this study indicate that the treatment of goat manure (P2) has a significant effect on the parameters of seedling height, number of leaves and root length respectively 25.03 cm, 17.1 strands and 11.32.cm However, it was not significantly different in the treatment of chicken manure (P3) which had a significant effect on stem diameter 20.93 mm. Whereas the fertilizer compositiontreatment(D3) had a significant effect on all parameters with value of 23.38 cm, 18.8 strands, 3.21 mm and 11.72 cm. The results of the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test showed that the interaction of goat manure with a composition of 3: 1 (P2D3) with the highest value of 32.2 showed better results on the height parameter of moringa seedings.
