Abstrak
Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) is one of the potential export commodities and the third largest foreign exchange earner in the plantation sub-sector. Organic fertilizers can improve soil properties and can act as a buffer for nutrient supplies for plants so that organic fertilizers can restore soil fertility. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fruit waste-based liquid organic fertilizer concentration on the successful cross-grafting of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L) shoots. This research was conducted from March to June 2020, located in Sibalago Village, Toribulu Sub-District, Parigi Moutong District. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) method consisting of four levels of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) concentration treatment, namely: P0 = No Treatment (Control), P1 = 0.75%, P2 = 1% and P3 = 1.25%. The results showed that the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer made from fruit waste had a significant effect on shoot height and number of leaves on shoots and had no significant effect on shoot emergence time and shoot number. The treatment of concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) made from fruit waste 1% (P2) gave the best effect on the growth of cocoa seedlings resulting from shoot graft compared to other treatments, namely the emergence time of 14 days, number of shoots 2,3, number of leaves 12,2 and shoot height 11,975.
