Abstrak This study aims to determine the effect of several types of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi (FMA) on media containing allelopathic substances on the growth of ketapang seedlings (Terminalia catappa L.). This study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method consisting of 4 treatments, namely without the addition of FMA (M0), FMA type Glomus halonatum 10 g / plant (M1), FMA type Septoglomus construktum 10 g / plant (M2), and combined FMA 4 types namely Acauloposa, Gigaspora, Glomus, and Scutellospora 10 g / plant (M3), from the four treatments each repeated 10 times, so that the total seedling units needed amounted to 40 seedlings. The parameters observed were height (cm), diameter (cm), number of leaves (strands), canopy wet weight (g), root wet weight (g), crown dry weight (g), root root dry weight (g), and seed quality index. The results of this study indicate that the administration of several types of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi significantly affected all observational parameters, namely height, diameter, number of leaves, crown wet weight, root wet weight, crown dry weight and root dry weight. Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi (FMA) type which gives a better effect in increasing the growth of ketapang seedlings is Septoglomus constructum (M2) when compared to other FMA types such as Glomus halonatum (M1) and a combination of 4 types of FMA (M3). But the three types of FMA gives a better effect than the control (M0). The quality index of ketapang seedlings at eight weeks after planting averaged between 0.262-0.431, which means that all treatment combinations produce seedlings that are suitable for planting. |
