| Abstrak Banana kepok peel is an organic material consists of important elements nutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). The addition of POC banana peel kepok is expected to improve the soil propweties, both physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. the purpose of this study was to assess the effect of POC of banana peel kepok on the growth of tanjung seedling (Mimusops elengi L). This study used a randomized block design which consists of 5 concentration levels of banana peel liquid organic fertilizer treatment namely: PO= without liguid organic fertilizer (control), P1=5%, P2= 7,5%,P3=10%, P4= 12,5%.The five treatments were divided into two groups, each experimental unit consists of 7 replication seedlings. The observation parameters are seeding height (cm), stem diameter (mm), leave number and wet weight of roots, wet weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots and dry weight of roots. data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the concentration of banana peel liquid organic fertilizer has not significant effect on the growth of tanjung seedlings. Eventhogh the seedlings which fertilized with concentration of 12,5% trend to growing better compared to other treatments. The average growth of seedling height was 5,5 cm, the average stem diameter was 0,32 mm, the average number of leaves was 5,28 sheets. the wet weight of shoot was 3,63 g, the wet weight of the roots was 1,54 g, the dry weight of the roots was 0,62 g and the dry weight of the shoot was 2,45 g. |
