Abstrak This study aims to determine the effect of the application of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi dose (AMF) to increase the growth of mahogany seedlings (Swietenia macrophylla King). This study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely without the treatment of the AMF dose (PO), the treatment dose of 5g AMF + 2kg soil (P1), the treatment dose of 10g AMF + 2kg soil (P2), the treatment dose of 15g AMF + 2kg soil (P3). From the four treatment levels each is repeated ten times, so that the total seedling unit needed is 4x10 = 40 (Forty) seedling units. The parameters observed were height (cm), diameter (mm), number of leaves (strands), and seed quality index. The results of this study indicate that administration of AMF doses to mahogany seedlings significantly influences the observation parameters, namely height, diameter, and number of leaves. The treatment of P3 = 2kg soil + 15g AMF gives the best growth effect compared to treatment P2 = 2kg soil+ 10g AMF, then P1 = 2kg soil + 5g AMF, and (without administration of AMF dose or control). |
