Abstrak One of the highly influential disciplines in countermeasures to flood problems specific to the watershed is with the help of Geographic Information System applications. The flash flooding that occurred in Bolapapu Village on December 12, 2019, is the second flash flood to occur over the past nine years. The study aims to find out the extent of flood insecurity using SIG in the village of Bolapapu Kecamatan Kulawi Kabupaten Sigi. The study is expected to provide both an overview and information on areas of flood insecurity to minimize the impact that has occurred on the community and the environment. The study was conducted beginning in Novemver month 2019 – January 2020 with Methods used in data collection are surveying and field mapping methods as well as scoring and weighting methods. Scores and weightings are carried out against several parameters, namely precipitation, slope slope, soil type, land use, elevation, and area distance with rivers (buffers). Flood insecurity zoning is obtained by the method of scoring and weighting based on those parameters. From the results of the analysis it can be known that the area surrounding Miu watershed has a non-flood prone area of 1,487.06 Ha or 71.63% of the total area area of the area is located at the headwaters of the watershed, flood prone area of 505.02 Ha or 24.33% of the total area is contained in the central and Heat and areas very prone to floods of 84 Ha or 4.04% of the area river of Bolapapu village.
